Feeling great some time back, I decided on a celebration dinner and after hearing all the good things about Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., we just have to go give it a try. And that's how I landed myself at The Curve.

Stepping into the restaurant, the waiter came over and gave us a quick run-down on how to make our orders as well as recommend some of the house specialties. It only took us about 2 minutes to decide on what to eat and have our order placed.

Within another 2minutes, the waiter came back again with our drinks, what I ordered was the Mango Sparkler and the other was the Alabama Sweet Smoothie.

The drinks was good, but we later learn that some drinks just doesn't go with some food. Unlike shrimps that can go with anything. While waiting for our food, we were entertained by the waiter who comes by to give us some pop quiz about the show. Questions like... what's the name of Forrest's son? (Forrest Gump Jr.) amd where is Forrest's home town (Alabama).

The main dishes we ordered took about 15 to 20minutes before we get to eat, and so that's how I got myself the Bourbon Street Baramundi. It's basically a charbroiled Cajun spiced Baramundi with Bourbon Street Sauce and shrimps served over mashed potatoes. Quite like this meal and it's reasonably priced too. I'd give it a 4/5.

Next up was the Chipotle Shrimp. We didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be a cheesy and spicy affair. It's shrimps sauteed in a creamy parmesan chipotle sauce served over a bed of rice with garlic bread. The dish is spicy and quite creamy so it's a recommended dish for those that like both spicy and cheesy meal. One thing for sure is, it doesn't go well with the Alabama Sweet Smoothie. Don't believe me? Try it yourself! One other bad point about this dish that was served to us is, some of the shrimps still have it's shells on! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that cause most of the shrimps doesn't have any shells on it. I'd give it a 2/5 for the simple reason that it didn't go well with the Alabama Sweet Smoothie (-1point) and there's shells on some of the shrimps (-1point).

Drill Sergeant: ...Is that clear?
Forrest Gump: Yes, drill sergeant!
